One of my favorite Christmas traditions are hot fudge sundaes. I know, I know… not your typical Christmas tradition, but for as long as I can remember we have ended both Christmas Eve & Christmas Day with big ‘ole bowls of ice cream (preferrably peppermint) & a large helping of hot fudge (although, some people seem to enjoy a bowl of hot fudge all on it’s own, it’s that yummy). So this year, my Christmas gift to you is the super secret hot fudge recipe…

Marilyn’s Famous Hot Fudge

3 sticks of butter
1 large can of carnation evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
12-14 tablespoons of cocoa
2 lb. bag of powder sugar

Combine butter, milk & vanilla in a saucepan and cook on medium heat until butter is melted. Then add cocoa & sugar & mix. Once it is mixed well, pour it into a blender to mix out all the chunks.
