Ready for a night of culture, under the stars? Then be sure to check out Buena Park’s “Civic Theatre Under the Stars” & Tustin’s “Broadway in the Park” happening THIS month.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”  will be playing Friday & Saturday evenings, at 8:15pm, now through August 28th, under the stars at the Walter D. Ehlers Community Recreation Center’s Outdoor Theatre. “Comedy reigns when a thoroughly disarming slave named Pseudolus schemes to gain his freedom by helping his maser’s son get the girl he desires. It’s an accelerating whirl of mixed identities, swinging doors, double takes, double entendres, outrageous puns and gags that will keep you laughing all the way home.”

Guys & Dolls” is the 2010 Broadway in the Park production, presented by the Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts. Bring your beach chair, grab a blanket & pack a picnic dinner & bring the family along to experience “Broadway in the Park” at Peppertree Park in Old Town Tustin.  The play runs EVERY night Tuesday, August 17th – Wednesday, August 21st. The Box office opens at 5:30pm, Gates open at 6pm (arrive early to ensure a good spot, seating on the lawn is first come first served) & the curtain rises at 8pm.
