Gourmet Waffle Sandwiches have descended upon Orange County & I can tell you from personal experience they are absolutely amazingly delicious. Simply thinking about them, & I’m licking my lips. Oh my heavens… I want one NOW!
If you’ve never been to Bruxie – you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s a quick-serve restaurant located right across from Chapman University in Old Town Orange (corner of Glassell & Palm), that serves over a dozen different sweet & savory waffle sandwiches. & The best part? Nothing on the menu is more than $8!
Intrigued? Ready to know what’s on the menu? Savory Waffle Sandwiches include: a Bacon, Egg & Cheddar, Prosciutto & Gruyere, Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream Cheese, Sun-Dried Tomatoes & Goat Cheese, Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffle, Bruxie Burger & the Cheesy Bruxie. Sweet Waffle Sandwiches include: Fruit & Cream, S’Mores, PB & J, Nutella & Bananas, Lemon Cream & Berries, & Ogura Bruxie.
Having tasted literally all of the menu offerings, I can honestly tell you that you won’t be disappointed – with anything. & Be sure to add an old-fashioned sugar cane soda, or soft-serve frozen custard to your order for a meal you won’t soon forget. Really & truly, this place is my latest obsession. & I’m not alone – on all 3 of my visits, I encountered crazy long lines, but a Bruxie Waffle Sandwich is definitely worth the wait… even my kids agree!
Bruxie is opened daily from 9am – 9pm (perfect for breakfast, lunch & dinner), and is located at 292 N. Glassell Street (at Palm Avenue) in Old Towne Orange. For more information, including full menu, go HERE.

[...] Bruxie Waffles | Just Spotted [...]
Drove past the Bruxie Stand on Glassell Avenue near Chapman University at 1pm on sunday july 17th. Saw the word Waffles painted on the wall and was amazed at the line of people stretched half way down the block. Didn’t have the time to stop but made a mental note to return. Did so at 10 pm just as they had closed. So, I missed out again! But I got to speak with one of the knowledgable and friendly young workers there who clued me on some of the favorites. Also mentioned two more Bruxies are opened with one in Brea and another in Santa Barbara or Santa Clarita but I don’t recall exactly which Santa it is. Anyway, on a future run out there there’ll be one more body on that line. A note to dieters…Nothing on the menu has a calorie count next to eat so eater beware. My guess is it will make a thin man fat and a fat man fatter. And god knows I’m already enough. But, that won’t stop me…..Happy eating.
