TOMS Shoes (one of my personal, most absolute-favorite brands), Active Ride Shop, amazing artwork, not to mention milk & cookies… sounds like the perfect Orange County weekend activity, if you ask me.
This Saturday, March 12th, 2011 from 1-5pm, Active Ride will be playing host for the Milk & Cookies Art Show at the Irvine Spectrum Center. This kids & family oriented event will feature collaborative artwork from 9 world-renowned artists & their kids, as well as a collection of pieces from local Orange County students from the Anneliese Schools, as well as 16 other child artist. Artwork will be available for purchase & all proceeds will be donated to Seeds Arts and Education, Inc. & the JLA Project. Special musical guests Summer Watson & the Hindu Pirates will be performing during the event, and of course… milk & cookies will be served!
TOMS Shoes to Launch the Kids for Kids Collections
In addition, TOMS Shoes will also be launching their Kids for Kids collection at the Milk & Cookies Art Show through a Style Your Sole design party. Yep! Yep! You will able to design your very own pair of TOMS Shoes. & As always, with every pair purchased, TOMS Shoes will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need… it’s all about one for one.
Oh, by the way… rumor has it that “someone very special from TOMS Shoes” will be at the event on Saturday? Maybe even Blake himself?
