Wondering how you’re going to spend your Orange County 4th of July? I’m sure fireworks, food, a pancake breakfast, games, live music, a parade, & most likely a day at the beach are already on your list. Luckily the 4th of July is a huge party in Orange County. Here are a list of family-friendly events that will definitely make this a celebration to remember.

Sunday, July 3rd:

* Anaheim: Disneyland’s “Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” 9:30pm.
* Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade & Pier Festival: 5K Run, Pancake Breakfast, Parade, Pier Festival & fireworks. This mostly free event lasts all weekend long (July 2nd – 4th), with the firework show at 9pm on Monday evening.
* City of Orange Annual 3rd of July Celebration: Fred Kelly Stadium. Live entertainment, youth activities, interactive games, vendor booths & fireworks. $7 per person, children ages 2 & under are free. This event is from 4-9pm.
* Santa Ana Independence Day Celebration: Centennial Park, 3000 W. Edinger Ave., Santa Ana. Live Music, fireworks & more. This FREE event is from 6-9:30pm.

Monday, July 4th:

* Anaheim: Disneyland’s “Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky,” 9:30pm.
* Aliso Viejo 4th of July at the Pool: Spend the Fourth of July at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center and you’ll enjoy $3 entry, fun-filled free activities throughout the day, chef’s specials and much more. The pool is open from 10am – 7pm.
* Anaheim 4th of July Celebration: 5K, pancake breakfast, parade, dog show, & fireworks. The celebration lasts  all day, with the firework show at 9pm at Peralta Park.
* Brea 31st Annual Country Fair: 7am-4pm at City Hall Park, 301 S. Brea Blvd. Admission is FREE. Pancake breakfast, live entertainment, kiddie parade, food, exhibits, teen fun area & Market Place craft area. Swimming at the Plunge begins at 11am for $2.
* Cypress, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor & Seal Beach 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular: Joint Forces Training Base. Food Court, Sponsor Booth, Kids Fun Zone & fireworks. This FREE event starts at 4pm. ($5 parking fee).
* Dana Point Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza: Take advantage of the FREE shuttles & head to Doheny State Beach, 25300 Dana Point Harbor Dr., Dana Point. Day long festivities & fireworks at 9pm. Watching from home? Be sure to tune your radio to KSBR 88.5FM.
* Dana Wharf Fireworks Cruises: Watch the fireworks from the water… dinner & fireworks or fireworks only cruises available.
* Fullerton 4th of July Festival & Fireworks Show: Fullerton High School Stadium. Live music, games, food & fireworks. This FREE event takes place from 5-9:30pm.
* Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade & Pier Festival: 5K Run, Pancake Breakfast, Parade, Pier Festival & fireworks. This mostly free event lasts all weekend long (July 2nd – 4th), with the firework show at 9pm on Monday evening.
* Irvine Concert on the Green & Fireworks Festival: Irvine High School. Live bands, concession stands, balloon jumpers, face painting, games & fireworks, gates open at 3pm. Adults (14 & over) $12, Senior/ Child (60+ & 13 and under) $8, under 2 are free.
* Ladera Ranch: Community parade, freedom run, pie baking & watermelon eating contests, teen party zone, live music, fun activities, food & fireworks. This FREE event starts at 7am, with the firwork show at “dark.”
* Laguna Hills Fourth of July Celebration: Laguna Hills Community Center & Sports Complex, 25555 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills. Fun, food, carnival rides, live music, patriotic crafts and fireworks. This FREE event takes places from 4-9:10pm.
* Laguna Niguel 4th of July Fair: 5K run/walk & 10K run/walk & children’s races. Pancake breakfast, free swim & fireworks (9pm at Laguna Niguel Regional Park).
* La Habra 4th of July Celebration: La Habra High School Stadium. Games, food, activities & fireworks. This even takes place from 5-9:30pm.
* Lake Forest Pancake breakfast ($5 per person), 5K ($30 for adults, $10 for students) & Parade (Free).  This event takes place starting at 7am at El Toro High School.
* La Palma: Fitness Run (5K Run, 5K Walk, 10K Run)
* Mission Viejo Fourth of July Street Faire & Fireworks: Olympiad & Marguerite, Mission Viejo. Food, games & fireworks. This FREE event takes place from noon – 9pm.
* Newport Dunes Fireworks Extravaganza: The fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. on Monday, July 4, but the Dunes has planned a full-day of activities for those interested in spending their holiday by the Back Bay. There will be a $50 per car (with six wristbands) or a $10 per person walk-in fee for the activities.
* Newport Beach 4th of July Parade & Firework Cruises: During the “Fireworks Cruise” (7-9:30pm), you’ll spend the first hour cruising through the beautiful Newport Harbor. After sunset you will have a front row seat to one of the largest 4th of July fireworks displays.
* Newport Beach: Newport Peninsula Bike, Dog Parade & Community Festival featuring free carnival games, giant slides, jump houses, arts & crafts and food. The bike and dog parade begins at 9 a.m. at the 38th Street Park and will head down Balboa Blvd. to Channel Place Park for the festival which lasts until 11am.

Independence Day Parade & Celebration: The parade will begin at the corner of Commodore & Mariners Drive at 10:30 a.m. and the celebration will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mariners Park. This year’s festivities include free entertainment, face painting, and arts & crafts. There will be food for sale and wristbands  available for purchase that allow participation in games and activities including a rock climbing wall, bungee run, 28, slide, defender dome, wrecking ball, adrenaline maze, obstacle course, balloon burst, games down carnival row, sports zone and more!  Wristbands are $15 each ($10 for toddlers), & will go until 3pm.

The Old Glory Boat Parade will be held in Newport Harbor on July 4, beginning at 1 p.m.  See the harbor at its patriotic best as boats decorated in red-white & blue move through the water. For more information about the parade, including the best viewing locations, go HERE.
* Orange Park Acres: 5K & Parade
* San Clemente July 4th Fireworks: San Clemente Pier. This FREE fireworks show begins at 9pm.
* San Juan Capistrano 4th of July Celebration: San Juan Capistrano Sports Park, 25925 Camino Del Avion, San Juan Capistrano. Live music, exhibit & food booths, free pony rides, rides & fireworks. FREE admission, tickets & wristbands available for purchase for rides and bouncers. This event starts is from 3-9:30pm.* Tustin July 4th Celebration: Tustin High School, 1171 El Camino Real, Tustin. Entertainment & fireworks. This FREE event starts at 6:30pm, fireworks at 9pm.
* Yorba Linda 4th of July Spectacular: Veterans Park, 4756 Valley View St., Yorba Linda. Food, music, games and a fantastic fireworks show. This FREE event starts at 5pm, fireworks at 9pm
* Marine Corps Coastal City Flyover: HMLA-367 “Scarface” Fourth of July Flyover (a squadron of Marine helicopters) are scheduled to perform a flyover along the coast of five Orange County cities on Monday, July 4.  Their coastal flight will begin in Huntington Beach and continue south to Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point and San Clemente.  Their estimated flight time (for the entire route) is from 6:55 p.m. until 7:25 p.m.  Since Newport Beach is early in their flight, they are expected to arrive over our coast at 6:59 p.m.  If you are by the beach Monday evening, please cheer on these Marine Corps pilots!
