The Peanuts’ House in Costa Mesa has actually moved to Costa Mesa City Hall this year while the homeowner goes through foreclosure/lawsuits… More details on LAist: http://laist.com/2011/12/08/ocs_snoopy_house_will_be_recreated.php

  2. Carrie says:

Check out King Eider Ln in Aliso Viejo. They are also collecting canned goods for the South County Food Drive!

  3. John says:

Check out 306 Barryknoll St. in Anaheim. New family moved here from Northern California, and they have an awesome display. From Boo (Mosters Inc.) and Buzz Lightyear wooden cut outs, to lighted deer, trees, Angels, Snowmen, and a house full of lights, they are bringing a whole new holiday spirit to our street!!!

  4. Deb says:

I’m so glad that you listed N. Yale in Fullerton. The whole street is A-MAZ-ING! There seems to be more and more sparkle balls on the trees every year. It’s a MUST SEE!

  5. Tony Ferris says:

    S. Bristol in Brentwood. The most amazing in Southern California. We spend 2 full weeks there to install $78k in Xmas lights. Trust me it’s worth the drive if your into Christmas light displays.

  6. Deanna says:

Pine Street in Old Towne Orange is amazing too!!!

  7. Damion says:

We’ve got a house with over 54,000 computer controlled lights that are sync’d to music at 18323 Stanislaus St. Fountain Valley, CA. It’s definitely something special, come check it out. Tune to FM 89.1 on your radio to listen to the music if it’s not playing outside.

  9. Laurie Hill says:

    Hello,

The young lady decorating works at the hotel and told me it was there first year lighting it up for the holidays
and had big plans for the years to come. I recommend a drive by and I know I will be checking it out next year
to see what else she will be adding to the hotels light show.

5755 Westminster Blvd. Westminster, Ca 92683 – First Annual Christmas Light Show – Promising to get bigger and better each year!

Check out 22 EL Corazon in RSM:

  12. Check out the neighborhood of Stella Mare and Seaside in Talega, so so nice, and also, the Monarch Beach area homes in Dana Point. That’s were the resorts ( Ritz and St Regis are) and those are gated neighborhoods so the entrances look beautiful. Doing the drive by is just worth it. PCH from Dana Point to Niguel Rd.

  13. Jake says:

Please disregard address 16801 Euclid (Mile Square Park). The actual neighborhood is off Brookhurst between Edinger and Heli. (you can enter on Thistle at Brookhurst)

  14. Jim says:

We’ve got a great Google Map to the best ones listed here in South Orange County plus others to see and a map to Eagle Hills in Brea that’s also a must see. See the map at http://www.lakeforestchristmas.com

    Enjoy the lights

  15. Susan J says:

Please add the East Lake Village community at 5325 Village Center Drive, Yorba Linda.
There are 191 homes that sit on a 15 acre lake. All the homes and streets are decorated. It is fun to drive around or walk around the lake at night.
They have a boat parade each year. This year it will be on Saturday/Sunday, December 8/9 at 6:30pm.

  16. sythjunkie says:

Sleepy Hollow in Torrance Ca. The best plan is to park on either Pacific Coast Highway or Prospect and walk in Robert Road, which is just north of Calle Mayor off PCH. You can drive through it too. It’s one of the best displays I’ve seen. Every tree connects to eachother.

  17. Rae says:

craig dr in orage ca has mr and mrs clause too! I go every year.

  18. Tiffany says:

This house has life size reindeer on the roof, manger scene, ginger bread village & more. Check it out!
    16252 Woodstock lane, HB

  19. Jared Miller says:

Compass Cir., Yorba Linda (just behind Rose Friends Church off Bastanchury & Rose) My wife & I discovered this one just last week (11/30/12) on our way home. It’s not very long, but an entire street that have almost all done their own very nice displays. Out of the ten houses, it was hard to pick a Top 5.

  20. Come and see us on King Eider Ln. in Aliso Viejo, near the intersection of El Toro Rd. and Aliso Creek Rd. Bring a donation for the Holiday Food Drive, which benefits South County Outreach (www.sco-oc.org). Thank you so much! Happy Holidays, everyone!

  21. Monte Gibbs says:

One of the greatest individual displays you can imagine can be found across the street from Stacey Middle School on Larchwood in Huntington Beach. There are a couple of nice displays but one in particular requires walking up in the driveway and viewing the garage full displays, Best Imaginable!

    • daryl gloudeman says:

thanks monte..the address you are speaking of is 6202 larchwood dr huntington beach ca 92647, well worth the drive, we have over 200 animated figures, snow machines, and plenty of christmas spirit.here is last year with fritz http://youtu.be/Bgp9b6SucYg

  22. Joel says:

2351 Caper Tree Dr in Tustin has been around and unknown since I was a little boy. The home is in a culder-sac with three other homes that do great light displays, but this address converts their whole garage into a Christmas Village scene.

The owner also takes canned food donations for the a local food shelter.

  23. Prat says:

Can someone who went to 306 Barryknoll St. in Anaheim, tell me where exactly this house is? Google maps pulls up 306 N Barryknoll St. in Anaheim, but when we drive by, there were no lights. Maybe someone can give better directions or correct way to get there. Thanks guys.

  24. Luisa says:

In Fullerton, Valle vista is fun with the snow, and Yale street is fun with all the lit balls in the trees. In Placentia, the sanbert house is cute because of their Chrustmas Story figures, but I wouldn’t make a far trip to go there…just if you are more local it’s cute to see. In Brea, the house on Cedar has a pretty good light show to see. In Yorba Linda, we couldn’t find anything on Oriente Dr. or on Seabiscuit. And Compass Circle had lights, but nothing extraordinary…I wouldn’t drive from far to go there either. That’s the rounds we made tonight! The best was the Fullerton ones and the Brea one.

  25. Worth checking out if lots of lights and unique installation is what you are after is the display at the corner of Tustin Ave and Costa Mesa street In Costa Mesa. (402 Costa Mesa Street)
Over 50k lights both new and vintage envelope the gardens around the streetside of this Eastside Costa Mess residence

  26. Merry Light Seekers says:

Craig Drive in Orange – truly amazing. The owners are moving out of CA. Be sure to catch it before its gone.

    Saddlehill in Orange – gone

Great list, thanks for the fun!

  27. sarah says:

7633 E. Saddlehill Trail is up for sale. .. drove out there… barely any lights.

  28. [...] One great aspect of Christmas celebrations is the amazing decorations that are set up all over the city. Within Orange County, CA, there are a few places which are particularly famous for rich decorations and beautiful Christmas lights. Some of them are listed here. [...]
