This season celebrate the Holidays at Disneyland, where it’s already beginning to look a lot like Christmas. now through January 6th, 2013 you can experience the holidays in a practically-perfect winter wonderland setting… & let me tell you, there is definitely a special magic in the air.

Holidays at Disneyland Park
Decorations galore, tasty holiday-inspired treats (the Holiday gingerbread beignets at the Cafe Orleans are to-die-for), “A Christmas Fantasy” parade with Mickey & Minnie actually skating on a moving pond, brightly lit & seasonally dressed lamp posts, Christmas trees (including the 60 foot spectacular on Main St. that puts on a “nightly holiday light show like no other”).
literally thousands of sparkling lights, Santa & his reindeer – live & in person, “Believe… in Holiday Magic” firework show & the always-anticipated snowfall, holiday transformations of both “It’s a Small World” & “Haunted Mansion Holiday,” and so much more.
Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park
Celebrating their first holiday season, Cars Land & Buena Vista Street are also getting decked out for the festivities.
A beautiful Christmas tree takes center stage near Carthay Circle on Buena Vista Street. The nighttime “Mad T Party” will be featuring Alice and the Mad Hattar’s own brand of “off-kilter holiday spirit” in Hollywood Land. Giant Christmas Lights & oversized ornaments can be found inside “a bug’s land.” The nightly “World of Color” show welcomes special holiday guests Lanny and Wayne, elves from the tv show “Prep & Landing.” & Even the the “Phineas and Ferb’rs Rockin’ Rollin’ Dance Party” has been given a holiday makeover.
But my favorite, are the lights & holiday decor found in Cars Land.
Each & every “address” along Route 66 in Cars Land (Flo’s V-8 Café, Fillmore’s, Cozy Cone Motel, Luigi’s Casa della Tires and more) will feature holiday décor that reflects the personality of the “Cars” character who lives there.

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort
I for one am love all the lights, sounds & of course, the snow. My kids are already excited about actually meeting Santa & getting to pet his reindeer, at the Reindeer Roundup. And have I mentioned all the tasty treats? Handmade candy canes, Pumpkin & Chocolate Chestnut Yule Logs, spiced apple cider, shortbread snowman & zesty tamales… my, oh my! But most of all – I love seeing my kids faces light up as they take it all in. This is definitely the most wonderful time of the year at the “happiest place on Earth.”
